| Since its inception in 2001, Renaissance Soul Detroit (or known as just Rensoul.com) has been the Internet place for the best in urban soul music in Detroit. Originally launched as a dedication to the works of Jay Dee (aka J. Dilla), Rensoul.com has grown to spotlight up and coming hip hop soul music from the Motor City. The site’s intent is to be a gateway to the world into the amazing talent of Detroit, specifically showcasing artists that have not gotten their proper exposure while portraying a high bar of quality music. |
